Price Engine grew out of experience, not theory
Macopedia is a technology company from Poznan, Poland, that has been building e-commerce platforms and product data management systems for mid-size and large companies for over 15 years. We've delivered more than 200 projects for brands like Rawlplug, Inoxa, Indigo Nails, Żabka, Trefl, Kross, Immergas, Dr Max, Wkret-Met, Thermosilesia and Warta.pl.
Through years of working with B2B and B2C systems, we saw the same problem in almost every project: price management was chaotic. Price lists in spreadsheets, promotions scattered across multiple systems, manual margin calculations and no single source of truth for pricing.
Price Engine wasn't built from scratch as a standalone product. It grew out of dozens of implementations where we had to solve our clients' pricing problems. We knew what the pain looked like, and we knew how to fix it.
